| 1 Kings is a book of the Christian and Hebrew Bibles. It is universally accepted across all Jewish and Christian biblical canons. In Eastern Orthodox bibles it is named 3 Kingdoms. In older bibles based on the Vulgate, it was named 3 Kings, and the name "1 Kings" referred to what is now 1 Samuel. |
