    Daniel Judson Callaghan (b. July 26, 1890, San Francisco, Calif.–d. Nov. 13, 1942, Guadalcanal), U.S. Navy admiral, who received the Medal of Honor posthumously for his actions during the Battle of Guadalcanal.
