Welsh politician, and member of Plaid Cymru, who stood for election in the National Assembly for Wales election, 2007 for the Aberavon constituency. Linet was elected as a county councillor to Neath Port Talbot council for the Pontardawe ward in the 2008 local elections on May 1.

She is also noted for her inspirational career as Head of Music at Bishop Vaughan Catholic Comprehensive school. Under her tutelage, students voluntarily spent hours of their spare time either in one of her many extra-curricular groups or in the student-led bands that flourished there. Music education practitioners in the UK would do well to follow her example. |
