Neacșu Lupu
(15th century – 16th century)

16th century Wallachian trader, mentioned for the first time during Vlad cel Tânăr's reign (1510 - 1512). In the year of 1512 he sends a letter to Johannes Benkner of Braşov, warning him about the Turks' intentions to attack. This letter is the oldest known document written in Romanian language.
