See biography, media, quotes. Sir Pelham Grenville Wodehouse KBE (pronounced WOOD-house) was an English comic writer who enjoyed enormous popular success for more than seventy years. He was part author and writer of fifteen straight plays and of 250 lyrics for some thirty musical comedies.
