A Lloyd Manuel contributed articles to the March 1916 (p. 47) and July 1916 (p. 184) issues of QST. The June 1916 issue of QST describes the station of a "Mr. Manuel", callsign 1TH, of Providence, RI. If these two people are one-and-the-same, Lloyd Manuel was born around 1890 (An article in the September 1916 issue of Technology World Magazine lists him as 16 years old) and was still alive in 1971 (the February 1972 issue of QST) describes the 50th anniversary of the first radio contact between 1TH and 9CP in 1921).
