Biographical Gleanings[edit]
Obata's biography is not readily accessible on the web. One gleaning is that he is likely a graduate of University of Wisconsin in 1913. See [1].Easchiff 11:37, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
- I think he did publish one or more poems in a UW literary magazine.

Life dates[edit]
The normal authority controls don't seem to have this but hyperion-records.co.uk lists his lifespan as 1888–1971. Googling has returned more hits to support this but nothing really conclusive. It does seem to fit the time frame of his publications, however, so I've added it to the author template for now. - AdamBMorgan (talk) 12:27, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
