Chapter 1

¹ In second year when Artaxerxes the Great was king, on the first day of Nisa, Mardochaios son of Iairos son of Semeias son of Kisaios, from tribe of Beniamin, saw a dream. ² He was a Ioudean man dwelling in city of Susa, a great man, serving in court of the king. ² Now he was of the group of exiles which Nabouchodonosor, king of Babylon,
