|Joint Communique on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations Between the People's Republic of China and the State of Quatar|
Out of a common desire to strengthen and develop the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries, the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the State of Qatar have decided to establish diplomatic relations between the two countries at the ambassadorial level as from Saturday, 9 July 1988.
