Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s press conference earlier this week left more questions than answers surrounding her use of a private email server while in office, and her decision to delete thousands of emails withheld from the State Department. In response, House Select Committee on Benghazi Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-SC) called on Sec. Clinton “to turn her server over to a neutral, detached third-party arbiter who can determine which documents should be public and which should remain private,” arguing that “the Secretary of State has enormous responsibility and jurisdiction and the public, the media and Congress have a legal right to access these public records without impediment.” A number of editorial boards and political analysts agree:

As Speaker Boehner has said: “It doesn’t matter if the server was in Foggy Bottom, Chappaqua or Bora Bora. The Benghazi Select Committee needs to see all of these emails, because the American people deserve all of the facts.”
