Signed by President  Theodore Roosevelt  Wednesday, February 17, 1909

John Hunter, Peter J. Kaster, and Joseph Stangle may be promoted from the position of classified laborer to that of assistant weigher in the Customs Service at the port of New York, the provisions of the promotion regulations which operate against such promotions being hereby waived.
