Description
English: Musical notation showing a note from the score for a segment (“Chiamata alla Caccia”; Act I, Scene 1) from the 1639 opera Le Nozze de Tito e Pelei by Cavalli. It is from a horn part scored on a "C clef" (apparently a C clef of obsolete design). The equivalent note on a bass clef is also shown. The tone indicates that it must have been meant to be played on a horn with a 16-ft. bore.
