Description
English: This is a recording of a radio broadcast entitled "Be Ye Men of Valour" produced and released by the British Broadcasting Corporation on May 19, 1940, of the former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill delivering his first national radio appearance nine days after first becoming Prime Minister. This was a response to the crisis that was happening in World War II, when the Germans had beaten the French and prepared to advance on the island of Great Britain.
