The Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China
National People's Congress
Adopted at the Third Session of the Seventh National People's Congress on April 4, 1990, promulgated by Order No. 26 of the President of the People's Republic of China on April 4, 1990, and effective as of July 1, 1997.
