- In order to make surveys of such parts as His Majesty's Bark the Endeavour under my command may touch at, it will be necessary to be provided with a set of instruments for that purpose. Please to move my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to order me to be supplied with the under mentioned mathematical instruments.
