What does the dollar sign mean here, please Apwoolrich 12:42, 6 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

What dollar sign? Do you mean where it says "...released under the $2 (see $1 for details)..."?—Zhaladshar (Talk) 14:09, 6 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Yes Apwoolrich 19:31, 11 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I believe that's php scripting for the MediaWiki software. If you compare where it says "$2" and "$1," with a page that is currently being edited, you'll notice that there is actual text in place of "$n." With my very limited knowledge of programming languages, I imagine that the "$n" calls a string to display on the page.—Zhaladshar (Talk) 21:29, 11 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

br tags vs XHTML[edit]

Could an admin please change the <br> tags to <br /> ? This is necessary so that the page parses as XML. Thanks Quarl 2006-02-14 21:29Z
