Bagenal, Philip Henry Dudley, B.A. St. Alban Hall, Oxon, author of The American Irish and their Influence on Irish Politics, Parnellism Unveiled, The Irish Agitator in Parliament and on the Platform, etc., a student of the Inner Temple 2 Nov., 1870 (then aged 20), called to the bar there 11 May, 1881, called to the bar King's Inns, Dublin, 2 Nov., 1874 (youngest son of Philip Henry Bagenal, Esq., late of Benekerry, Carlow, dec.); born 18 June, 1850; married 15 April, 1884, Hariot Jocelyn, 2nd dau. of Walter Hore, Esq., J.P., of Rathwade, co. Carlow.
