Brooke, Sir William de Capell, Bart., M.A., Brasenose Coll., Oxon, 1835, J.P. cos. Leicester and Northants, sheriff Rutland 1852, succeeded as 3rd bart. 1858, educated at Rugby, a student of the Inner Temple 25 May, 1820, called to the bar 25 May, 1827 (2nd son of Sir Richard Brooke de Capell Brooke, Bart., bar.-at-law); born 12 June, 1801; married 23 April, 1823, Hon. Catherine Watson, dau. of Lewis Thomas, 2nd Baron Sondes; she died 24 Nov., 1884, leaving issue (see Foster's Baronetage).
