Churchill, Cameron, B.A., S.C.L. Worcester Coll., Oxon, a governor of Dulwich Coll., appointed by chancery division Sept., 1877, general secretary to Young Men's Christian Association, author of the Law of the Sheriff, a student of the Inner Temple 6 May, 1872 (then aged 23), called to the bar 7 June, 1875 (4th son of Rev. William Churchill, of Colliton and Muston, Dorset, and Julia Charlotte Mackenzie, dau. of Sir Orford Gordon, 9th bart.); born 6 Feb., 1849; married 19 Nov., 1874, Blanche Eliza, only dau. of George William Hodge, of Reedsmouth Hall, Northumberland, and has issue (see Foster's Baronetage, Gordon of Embo).
