Clavering, Sir Henry Augustus, Bart., capt. R.N., entered the navy 1838, retired 1880, medal for Syrian campaign, etc., etc., a student of Lincoln's Inn 28 April, 1858 (then aged 34), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1861 (only son of Rawdon Forbes Clavering, late major R.E., dec.); born 30 Aug., 1824; married 12 Jan., 1853, Christina, dau. of Professor Alexander, LL.D., and has issue (see Foster's Baronetage).
