Clay, William Henry, a member of the Oxford circuit, sometime secretary of Droitwich Patent Salt Company, a student of the Middle Temple 19 May, 1866, certificate of honour 1st class Oct., 1868, called to the bar 17 Nov., 1868 (only son of William Clay, of Droitwich, co. Worcester, salt manufacturer, dec.); born ⁠, ⁠; married 19 Aug., 1875, Charlotte Mary, 2nd dau. of James Christy, Esq., of Boynton Hall, Essex.
