Philip Percival, puisne judge Madras since 1 Nov., 1883, Madras civil service since 1857, late district and sessions judge at Madura, Madras, educated at Merchant Taylors' School and Old Haileybury Coll., a student of the Inner Temple 23 April, 1867 (then aged 29), called to the bar 7 June, 1875 (4th son of William Hutchins, Esq., of Lower Sydenham, Kent); born 28 Jan., 1838; married ⁠, 1860, Fanny Annie, dau. of B. T. Norfor, Esq.
