Now if, upon examination, it should appear that the prophecy affords no ground for the hypothesis, which has been built on it, viz., that under the Gospel dispensation the law is written on the heart of every man, yet it is clear from numerous passages of Scripture, as well as that in the Hebrews, that the law is written in the heart of true believers, whether Jews or Gentiles.
