CHAPTER 9

IN NATURE, UNIVERSE AND TIME

It seems to us only proper that words
Should be withheld from vegetables and birds.
....
We, too, make noises when we laugh or weep,
Words are for those with promises to keep.




Among the stars
There is no speech or language;
Their voice is not heard.





The rest is silence.
