SECTION 33

Amendment to the Clayton Antitrust Act.

The Clayton Antitrust Act is amended by adding a new section, Section 8A, to provide that after January 1, 1934, no officer, director or employee of any bank organized or operating under the laws of the United States may be an officer, director or employee of a corporation (other than a mutual savings bank) or member of a partnership which makes loans on stocks or bonds except to its own subsidiaries.

SECTION 34

Savings Clause and reservation of right to amend.

Section 34 contains the usual provisions reserving the right to alter, amend or repeal the act and limiting decisions holding parts of the act to be invalid, to the specific sections dealt with in such decisions.
