Designation - Gibson Park Warehouse. Leased or Constructed - Leased. Location - Cnr. Holland and Chudleigh Streets, Fremantle. Use - Provisions, Bulk Clothing and Small Stores, and Bulk Storage for classes 34, 38, 40, 41, 42, 43, and 45. Area sq. ft. - Total 77,000 sq. ft. Type of Construction - Timber and iron. Personnel - 10 enlisted men and 1 civilian. REMARKS: This warehouse should be used only for provisions but due to lack of storage space it has to be utilized for other classes as above indicated. The men assigned to this warehouse also handle all frozen and chilled provisions which occupy four small refrigerated spaces located in various sections of Fremantle and listed under Cold Storage. |

Formerly used as Medical Department Storehouse, now taken over by Naval Supply Depot, Navy 137. Limited value because of small size and great distance from main center of operation. |
