Til biþ sē þe his trēowe gehealdeð:  ne sceal nǣfre his torn tō rycene
beorn of his brēostum ācȳþan,  nemþe hē ǣr þā bōte cunne,
eorl mid ęlne gefręmman.  Wel bið þām þe him āre sēceð,
