Edward Derby, installed j 6th Deo. 1506, vice Grant- ham deceased. He quitted this stall for Ketton.

Henry Wilcocks, LL.D., collated 20th Dec. 1507. He quitted it for Croperdy.

Nicholas Bradbridge, A.M., collated 27th Aug. 1508, Ho exchanged it for the chancellorship, with

William Atwater, 30th Oct. 1512. In 1514 he was promoted to the bishopric.

J ami s Denton, LL.D., installed 9th Dec. 1514. In 1521-2 he was made dean of Lichfield. He is said to have resigned this prebend for a pension of 20I, per annum.

William Bretton, LL.D., collated 16th and installed 22nd Aug. 153-. vice Denton, dean of Lichfield, re- signed.

Richard Barbour, LL.B.. installed 1st Oct. 155-, vice Bretton deceased.

William Pelsant, 13. D., collated 12th March and in- stalled on the 19th of the same month 1588-9, vice Barbour deceased.

John Pelsant, S.T.P., nominated by the King 17th Aug. and installed personally 13th Sent. 1640.

William Gery, S.T.P., collated 19th Dec. 1661, on the death of the last prebend.

William Wyatt, B.D., collated 22nd April and in- stalled 13th May 1668, vice Gery deceased. He was afterwards made precentor, but kept this stall till his death.

George Reynel, S.T.P., collated 26th Oct. and in- stalled on the 31st of the same month 1685. He was buried in Corpus Christi college chapel in Oxford.

John Gery, LL.D., collated 16th July 1687 and in- stalled 13th Aug. 1688, vice Reynel deceased. He died 9th Aug. 1722, being archdeacon of Bucking- ham.

Edward Griffith, A.M., collated 9th Aug. 1722, and died in 1727, succeeded by

Charles Reynolds, A.M., collated 31st Aug. 1727.
