.I(n\ Di. Monmouth was the first who possessed this
as a distinct prebend : he obtained it in tin-year 1290.

0/ Chichester, sucoeeded in 1312, and held it in 1333. Hugo, "cardinalis Saneta Maria in Portiea" held this

made bishop of Llandaff. John ni". Bottlesham, installed [8th Jan. 1389-90,
vice Barret resigned. He became bishop of Rochester. Walteb Cook, appointment ratified 9th Nov. 1395 ,
and died in 14.1, being treasurer and prebendary of
St. Paul's. Robeet N i:\ii.i.. collated 1423, vice Cook deceased. Robebt Fleming, installed by proxy 5th Aug. 1430 ;
he held it 1433. Robeet Isham, installed 17th Oct. 1467, and resigned
it in 150 1. Chbistopheb Uksw i (K, collated 14th June 1 501, vice
Isham resigned. Thomas Winter, cardinal Wolsey's natural son, was
collated 28th March 1522, on Urswick's death. Thomas Bkdall, LL.D., collated 1st Dec. 1529, vice
Winter resigned. William Welford or Wellyfedaie, collated 23rd
Sept. 1537, on Bedall's death. Robert Peterson, B.D., installed 26th Feb. 15378.
