George Martin, A.M., installed by the King's title, vice bishop Gardiner resigned. He quitted it i'<>r Ketton, and died 30th Jan. 1722-3, eetat. 74.

Jou\ Hutton, A.M., archdeacon of Stow, succeeded; collated 8th Feb. 1698-9, and installed oth May 1699.

Alex an deb Torriano, LL.D., collated 27th Aug. 1712, vice archdeacon llutton deceased. He died in 171 7.

Francis J bffrk s, LL.B., collated :9th June 1717. Ho quitted it for Carlton Dalby.

STOW LONGA. William de Thornton died possessed of this stall in

1312. Hugh de Normanton, collated in 1312; and resigned

it for Tame to Thomas de Bray, collated in 1316. Simox Montague was from this prebend made bishop

of Worcester in 1334. William de Theminis, admitted in 1334. Philip de Weston, presented in 1345, and died in
