m . I. Red, was elected at Whitsuntide in 1108 at Mort-

lake, and consecrated at Pageham 26th July iio8 ss .

He died 16th Jan. 1 127-2'. and was buried at St.

Osyth's in Essex. He seems t< have endeavoured to

get restored the archiepiscopal dignity to the see of

London
