1748 Samuel Lisle, bishop of St. Asaph, was nominated to 21 Geo. 11. Norwich 1 7th March 1 7478 ; the royal assent to his

election was given on the 26th of the same month ; hi' was confirmed 6th April, and the temporalities were restored to him 15th April 42 . He died in Oct. 1749.

1749 Thomas Haytob was nominated 13th Oct. 1749, and 23 Geo. II. elected 30th Oct.; the royal assent to his election

was given Mh Nov.; he was confirmed 1 st Dec, and consecrated on the jrdj and the temporalities were restored to him 5th Deo He was translated to Lon- don in 1 761. 1761 Philip Yonge, bish \p of Bristol, waa elected to Norwich

month. He died 23rd April 1783, setat. 73. 1783 Lewis Bagot, bishop of Bristol, was nominated 15th
