This dignity was erected by < Osmund, the Beoond bishop of Salisbury. The charter of institution of this and of the other dignities hereafter mentioned was dated and confirmed at Hastings in the year 109] .

Walteh was dean of Sarum in 109 1 .

Rogeb was dean of Sarum, but the year of his installa- tion is not known. Ho died ii Non. Octob., but no year is mentioned ' : .

Seklo held this dignity, but in what Mar it is not known. He died abbot of Cirencester in 1 147.
