among Hindus, if an individual is alive to see his fourth lineal descendant born, and the fourth in decent to Sir Subramanya Aiyar's Council will be the one under the new Reforms—the Council of an autonomous India. How he has worked towards such an evolution stead-fastly and with unfailing loyalty and courage need not be narrated—at great length just in this place. But Mr. G. Subramanya Iyer's leader in the Hindu on his nomination shews how the constitution of the Council stood then Its observations ran as follows:—
