Sunday, 30. At 10 a.m. Mr. Harris, the Governor's son and self walked to the farm, where I performed divine service; all the convicts and settlers attended. At 4 p.m. thunder with some rain. past I dined with Lt. Johnson. At 1 p.m., a very heavy hail storm. C.S., Newport.

Monday, 31. a.m. — At 10 continuel rain. In the eve I went and called upon Mr. and Mrs. Groves, where I stayed the eve. C.S., Hungerford.
