We are likewise glad to announce another volume from the pen of an individual who holds such a high name in the scientific world. Colonel Hamilton Smith, the author of the two volumes of our work devoted to the history of the dog, &c. The volume alluded to will contain the history of the Equidæ, (Horses and the allied species,) the drawings being from his own admirable pencil.
