Clarke, Janet Lady, President of the Australian Women's National League, Vic- toria; d. of the late Peter Snodgre*. M.L.A. of Victoria, and m. in 1878 as Irs 2nd wife the Hon. She is inte- rested in all questions affecting the welfare of women, is prominent in philanthropic movements, and did much to assist the Mel- bourne University Fund in 1904-5.
