From 1898 <o 1905 he was in London, where he contri- buted to The Graphic, Illustrated London News, Punch, The Sphere, Harper's Maga- zine, Pall Mall Magazine, and other illua trated journals. He exhibited four jean at the Royal Academy (twice placed on the line). His portraits include those of Gene- ral Sir Andrew Clarke, James Nicol Dunne (hung in the Institute of Journalists), and Robert Louis Stevenson (purchased for the Nat ional Portrait Gallery London).
