VISIT OF THE SENATE YOUTH PROGRAM GROUP

THE WHITE HOUSE

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 1969

PRESIDENT'S SCENARIO:


At 11:40 a.m. you will ba escorted from your office to the State Dining Room arriving at approximately 11:45 a.m.

Bud Wilkinson w111 have preceded you with a few brief remarks and will introduce you to the Senate Youth Group.

A single stand-up microphone will be provided. You will speak for approximately 5-10 minutes.

In attendance will be approximately 150 particIpants and administrative and supporting personnel of the Senate Youth Program.

The United States Senate Youth Program was created in 1962 to enable outstanding high school students to come to Washington to help broaden their knowledge and their uderstandlng of Congress and the legislative program.

The William Randolph Hearst Foundation makes avaliable the necessary funds to operate this United States Senate program. Mr. and Mrs. George R. Hearst and Mr. Randolph A. Hearst will be with the group.

At the conclusion of your remarks you will be escorted back to your office.
