VISIT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

PRESIDENT'S SCENARIO:
You will arrive at the main entrance (500 Independence Avenue - FAA Building) of the Department of Transportation at 2:15 P. M. and will be met by Secretary John Volpe who will escort you to the conference room adjacent to the Secretary's Office where he will introduce you to the following top Department of Transportation officials:

NOTE: Two photographers will be present in the conference room.
At approximately 2:30 Secretary Volpe will escort you directly to the stage of the Third Floor Auditorium where a single standup microphone will be provided. Following introduction by Secretary Volpe (who will remain seated on stage with you) you will speak to approximately 160 of the top employees of the Department of Transportation.
It is expected you will speak for approximately 15/20 minutes.
