List of Those Left in the Hospital After the Battle of May 6, 1862.

WILLIAMSBURG, V A., June 29, 1896.

To the Editor of the Dispatch:

In view of the fact that there may be some members of each of the commands to which these comrades belonged, who are in igno- rance of their fate and would be glad of this information, I send you for publication a list of those who were left wounded in Williams- burg, after the battle here on May 5, 1862. These names have been kindly furnished to and preserved by Magruder-Ewell Camp Con- federate Veterans.

List of the wounded Confederate soldiers left in the Baptist Church Hospital, at Williamsburg , Va., after the battle on the ^th of May, 1862:

William M. Richardson, lieutenant Company B, iyth Regiment, Virginia Infantry; died May 29, 1862, at Rev. T. M. Ambler's. Buried in the Episcopal churchyard; afterwards removed by friends.

William L. Rector, Company C, nth Virginia Infantry; died May , 1862.
