Each country is placed in the order in which it ranks according to the magnitude of the supplies it sent to the United Kingdom in 1869. The total of 18G9, it will be seen, shows an increase in amount oyer the year 1868, while, at the same time, it represents the highest figure ever recorded in imports: —
