In Heaven the only Art of Living Is Forgetting & Forgiving ; But if you on Earth Forgive You shall not find where to Live.

Jerusalem, f. 81, where this stanza is engraved in reversed characters in the left margin of a three-quarter-page illustration. Below the two couplets, also written in reversed writing, are the words ' Especially to the Female,' which seem intended as title to the lines above. Russell and Maclagan misread ' especially the Female,' and place between ll. 2 and 3.
