(j) PUBLIC LAW 96-342.—The exception provided in subsection (d)(3) applies to the notifications, summaries, certifications, and reports required by subsections (a), (b), and (c) of section 502 of the Department of Defense Authorization Act, 1981 (10 U.S.C. 2304 note), relating to conversion of performance of commercial and other type functions from Department of Defense personnel to private contractors. (k) PUBLIC LAW 98-94.—The exception provided in subsection (d)(3) applies to the following: (1) The notifications required by section 1201(c) of the Department of Defense Authorization Act, 1984 (97 Stat. 678), relating to transfers of amounts of authorizations. ,, ^r.;;..; (2) The reports and assessments required by section 1231 of such Act (97 Stat. 693), relating to certain intercontinental ballistic missile systems. ^ (3) The reports required by section 1252(d) of such Act (97 Stat. 698), relating to the cost effectiveness of and the quality of 42 USC 248d. medical care provided by public health service hospitals.
