services under this Act, be allowed travel expenses, including per diem in lieu of subsistence, as authorized under section 5703 of title 5 of the United States Code. "(f)(1) The advisory committee shall review the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act program, including but not limited to the administration, operations, and funding of such program. "(2) On the basis of its review, the advisory committee shall make findings and develop recommendations for consideration by Congress and the Secretary of Agriculture with respect to the future operation of the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act program. "(3) The advisory committee shall submit, to the House Committee Reports, on Agriculture, the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, and the Secretary of Agriculture, an interim report no later than September 30, 1989, and a final report no later than May 1, 1990, containing the results of its review and recommendations based on such results. "(g) The advisory committee shall cease to exist on the date of its Termination report to the House Committee on Agriculture, the Senate Commit- date. tee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, and the Secretary of Agriculture.".
