SEC. 6461. INCLUSION OF FEDERAL FIREARMS VIOLATIONS AS PREDlCATE WIRETAP OFFENSES.

Section 2516(1) of title 18, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end thereof the following: "(m) any felony violation of sections 922 and 924 of title 18, United States Code (relating to firearms); and "(n) any violation of section 5861 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (relating to firearms).". SEC. 6462. INCREASED PENALTIES FOR CERTAIN FIREARMS OFFENSES.

Section 924(a) of title 18, United States Code, is amended by— (1) inserting "or 3 " after "paragraph 2" in paragraph (1); (2) striking out "(g), (i), (j)," in subparagraph (a)(l)(B); (3) redesignating sul^ection (a)(2) as subsection (a)(3); and (4) inserting a new subsection (a)(2) to read as follows: "(2) Whoever knowingly violates subsections (d), (g), (h), (i), (j), or (o) of section 922 shall be fined as provided in this title, imprisoned not more than 10 years or both.". SEC. 6463. MONEY LAUNDERING FORFEITURES.

Real property.

(a) CrviL FORFEITURE.—Section 981(a)(l) of title 18, United States Code, is amended— (1) by striking out subparagraph (A) and inserting in lieu thereof the following: "(A) Any property, real or personal, involved in a transaction or attempted transaction in violation of section 5313(a) or 5324 of title 31, or of section 1956 or 1957 of this title, or any property traceable to such property. However, no property shall be seized or forfeited in the case of a t;i violation of section 5313(a) of title 31 by a domestic financial institution examined by a Federal bank supervisory agency , or a financial institution r ^ u l a t e d by the Securities and Exchange Commission or a partner, director, or employee thereof.; and (2) by striking out subparagraph (C). (b) CONFORMING AMENDMENT.—Section 981(b) of title 18, United States Code, is amended by striking out "involved in a violation of section 1956 or 1957 of this title investigated by the Secretary of the Treasury, and any property subject to forfeiture under subsection (a)(l)(O of this section" and inserting in lieu thereof "involved in a violation of section 5313(a) or 5324 of title 31 or of section 1956 or 1957 of this title investigated by the Secretary of the Treasury". (c) CRIMINAL FORFEITURE.—Section 982(a) of title 18, United States Code, is amended to read as follows: "(a) The court, in imposing sentence on a person convicted of an offense in violation of section 5313(a) or 5324 of title 31, or of section 1956 or 1957 of this title, shall order that the person forfeit to the United States any property, real or personal, involved in such offense, or any property traceable to such property. However, no property shall be seized or forfeited in the case of a violation of section 5313(a) of title 31 by a domestic financial institution examined by a Federal bank supervisory agency or a financial institution regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission or a partner, director,, or employee thereof.".
