"(i) PROVISION OF STAFF AND OTHER RESOURCES.— The Corporation shall provide the Committee with the use of such resources, includ- ing staff, as the Committee reasonably shall require to carry out its duties, including the preparation and submission of reports to Con- gress, under this section. "(j) FEDERAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE ACT DOES NOT APPLY. —The Federal Advisory Committee Act shall not apply to the Committee. "For purposes of this Act— "(1) DIRECTOR.—The term 'Director' means the Director of the Office of Thrift Supervision. "(2) CORPORATION.—The term 'Corporation' means the Fed- eral Deposit Insurance Corporation. " (3) OFFICE. —The term 'Office' means the Office of Thrift Supervision. "(4) SAVINGS ASSOCIATION. —The term 'savings association' means a savings association, as defined in section 3 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act, the deposits of which are in- ^ sured by the Corporation. "(5) FEDERAL SAVINGS ASSOCIATION.—The term 'Federal sav- ings association' means a Federal savings association or a Fed- eral savings bank chartered under section 5 of this Act. "(6) NATIONAL BANK. — The term 'national bank' has the same meaning as in section 3 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. "(7) FEDERAL BANKING AGENCIES.— The term 'Federal banking , agencies' means the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Board of Grovernors of the Federsil Reserve System, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
