AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS, ARMY (a) IN GENERAL.— Funds are hereby authorized to be appropriated for fiscal years beginning after September 30, 1990, for military construction, land acquisition, and military family housing func- tions of the Department of the Army in the total amount of $1,803,180,000 as follows: (1) For military construction projects inside the United States authorized by section 2121, $96,900,000. (2) For the construction of the Central Distribution Center, Phase III, Red River Army Depot, Texas, as authorized by section 2101(a) of the Military Construction Authorization Act, 1989 (division B of Public Law 100-456; 102 Stat. 2087), $39,000,000. (3) For unspecified minor construction projects authorized under section 2805 of title 10, United States Code, $12,000,000. (4) For architectural and engineering services and construc- tion design under section 2807 of title 10, United States Code, $96,530,000. (5) For support of military family housing (including the functions described in section 2833 of title 10, United States Code), $1,558,750,000, of which not more than $453,884,000 may be obligated or expended for the leasing of military family housing worldwide. (b) LIMITATION ON TOTAL COST OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS.— Not- withstanding the cost variations authorized by section 2853 of title 10, United States (Dode, and any other cost variation authorized by law, the total cost of all projects carried out under section 2121 of this Act may not exceed the total amount authorized to be appro- priated under subsection (a)(D. TITLE XXII—NAVY PART A—FISCAL YEAR 1990 SEC. 2201. AUTHORIZED NAVY CONSTRUCTION AND LAND ACQUISITION PROJECTS (a) INSIDE THE UNITED STATES.—The Secretary of the Navy may acquire real property and may carry out military construction projects in the amounts shown for each of the following installations and locations inside the United States:
