PUBLIC LAW 101-164—NOV. 21, 1989 103 STAT. 1077 HIGHWAY-RELATED SAFETY GRANTS (UQUIDATION OF CONTRACT AUTHORIZATION) (HIGHWAY TRUST FUND) For payment of obligations incurred in carrying out the provisions of title 23, United States Code, section 402, administered by the Federal Highway Administration, to remain available until ex- pended, $9,405,000, to be derived from the Highway Trust Fund: Provided, That not to exceed $100,000 of the amount appropriated herein shall be available for "Limitation on general operating ex- penses": Provided further, That none of the funds in this Act shall be available for the planning or execution of programs the obliga- tions for which are in excess of $9,405,000 in fiscal year 1990 for "Highway-related safety grants". RAILROAD-HIGHWAY CROSSINGS DEMONSTRATION PROJECTS For necessary expenses of certain railroad-highway crossings dem- onstration projects as authorized by section 163 of the Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1973, as amended, to remain available until ex- pended, $15,000,000, of which $10,000,000 shall be derived from the Highway Trust Fund. FEDERAL-AID HIGHWAYS (LIQUIDATION OF CONTRACT AUTHORIZATION) (HIGHWAY TRUST FUND) For carrying out the provisions of title 23, United States Code, that are attributable to Federal-aid highways, including the Na- tional Scenic and Recreational Highway as authorized by 23 U.S.C. 148, not otherwise provided, including reimbursements for sums expended pursuant to the provisions of 23 U.S.C. 308, $13,660,000,000, or so much thereof as may be available in and derived from the Highway Trust Fund, to remain available until expended.
