OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE, AIR INTERDICTION PROGRAM For expenses, not otherwise provided for, necessary for the hire, lease, acquisition (transfer or acquisition from any other agency), operation and maintenance of aircraft, and other related equipment of the Air Program; $110,347,000, to remain available until expended: Provided, That no aircraft or other related equipment with the exception of the aerostat program which will be transferred to the Department of Defense, shall be transferred to any other Federal agency, Department, or office outside of the Department of the Treasury during fiscal year 1991: Provided further, That the United Government States Customs Service shall commence procurement of long-lead procurement, items and conduct all advanced planning required in preparation for the procurement of one additional P-3 airborne early warning (AEW) aircraft in fiscal year 1992. CUSTOMS FORFEITURE FUND (LIMITATION ON AVAILABILITY OF DEPOSITS) For necessary expenses of the Customs Forfeiture Fund, not to exceed $14,855,000, as authorized by Public Law 100-690; to be derived from deposits in the Fund. CUSTOMS SERVICES AT SMALL AIRPORTS (TO BE DERIVED FROM FEES COLLECTED) Such sums as may be necessary, not to exceed $2,152,000, for expenses for the provision of Customs services at certain small airports or other facilities when authorized by law and designated by the Secretary of the Treasury, including expenditures for the salary and expenses of individuals employed to provide such services, to be derived from fees collected by the Secretary of the Treasury pursuant to section 236 of Public Law 98-573 for each of these airports or other facilities when authorized by law and designated by the Secretary of the Treasury, and to remain available until expended. UNITED STATES MINT SALARIES AND EXPENSES For necessary expenses of the United States Mint; $51,429,000, including amounts for purchase and maintenance of uniforms not to exceed $275 multiplied by the number of employees of the agency who are required by regulation or statute to wear a prescribed uniform in the performance of official duties. EXPANSION AND IMPROVEMENTS For expansion and improvements to existing Mint facilities and for renovation of such facilities as may be acquired, $550,000, to remain available until expended.
